Our Business Model

Our unique business model allows us to quickly find you experienced staff at prices you can afford. We do not follow a body-shop style business model. We have our own unique business model which has served our clients very well.

Our business model is shown below and is represented by the circles and oval shapes. The typical body-shop style business model (which is not our model) is shown in the rectangular box seen below. In the body-shop style business model the client simply wants the lowest priced candidates for their contracts. This means the staffing company would have to pay that candidate an even lower salary in order to factor in their profit margin.

Many candidates may accept such a contract because they have bills to pay and so it buys them some time before a more suitable contract comes along. So after starting the first contract, if another contract comes along offering them a fair market rate they will usually jump ship and go with the new contract. This is not good for anybody.

Through our networking activities and our personal contact us we have access to a large number of people who we know are the strong candidates. Our recruiters generally have at least 15 years IT experience and so they will be able to determine who the best candidates are.

Our business model is different and is seen below represented by the circles and oval shapes. We deal with mature clients who want us to supply them with good candidates but they are aware of what the market rates should be for such candidates. We, at Standard Staffing, also operate with low overhead costs so we can pass on those savings to our clients.

So with this in mind we can offer you great rates whilst still paying the candidate a salary truly commensurate with their level of expertise. This way they are less likely to jump ship purely for financial reasons and so you get happy and highly motivated candidates who have gone through our rigorous technical interviews so you can rest assured you will be getting very good candidates.
